The Seattle Convention Center regularly purchases a variety of goods and services, and as a public entity is committed to dealing fairly with all suppliers. Generally, purchases with an estimated value in excess of $20,000 are subject to varying levels of vendor competition. Some awards are made on the basis of price, e.g., a construction bid, while for other solicitations qualitative factors are taken into account. In all cases, SCC strives to be as clear as possible about its requirements.
